83 - Hospice and Hope
We are back (not really)
So, as many people have known at this point. The caregiver chapter has now entered “the end game” - we are now at stage hospice.
Dehydration has become a constant, but also all your favorite villains from the past - from kyphosis to COPD, as Jordan tries to do Care and Comfort and learn about kidney failure and the human bladder.
But that's not what we are talking about today.
Today's episode deals with playing catch up, losing a friend, the future of Late Night, and just coming to terms with my own midlife crisis and what to do next.
She's still alive, thankfully, but we know eventually it will happen, as we all do. But it's about bracing for impact and trying to keep going on.
I'll try and do more posting soon, but it's been such a juggle.
