Welcome to the VERY FIRST EPISODE OF GAME SHOWS I SUPPOSE OF 2024.

January somehow is a big feast for game show fans, as returns of Press Your Luck, The Traitors, Limitless Win and More. But not only that, we got plenty of new game shows on the way (And After Midnight, but I'm holding off because panel games are slightly different than game shows, even if it looks and sounds like one, but please check it out next week)

Anyway, according to my notebook, here's what was reviewed this episode…

Jeopardy UK - Stephen Fry presents a slightly longer version of the Answers and Questions quiz show from America. But has enough time to have fun facts, a staple during his run on QI.

Wheel of Fortune UK -A Saturday Night (or Saturday Afternoon) lead-in for The Masked Singer, which in turn also leads in to Limitless Win. For the first time ever, the wheel is played for money and not points!

We Are Family - Fox has a music based guessing game. No, not that one, no not that one, kind of like that one, but no it's different.

The Floor - John De Mol broke new ground when inventing Big Brother and The Voice, he helped create Fear Factor and Deal or No Deal, but he never really tried a studio quiz show. Is this the next big hit?

Blank Slate - A board game based on filling in the blank like in the super match of match game decided to do a squeaky clean version of Match Game. Boobs and Sex have been replaced by Apples and Magician, will that still make a good game show? You got FAMOUS COMEDIAN Mario Lopez to host, so uhhhh….

Also The Trust debuts today, it's interesting!

Also, the trailer for Deal or No Deal Island is released, and it changed my mind, somewhat.
