Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush was a variety game show in Channel 4 where contestants are pulled from the studio to do Truth or Consequences style challenges to win prizes. With live music every episode, and an end game called “light your lemon” where one contestant can win a grand prize vacation somewhere around the world.

But over on Comedy Central, somebody forgot about that and just decided to make it a dare-based game show where people destroy their personal possessions for money, kind of like Big Deal nearly a decade earlier. Mark Curry was however a delightful host.
