Podcasting

Hello Friends, I got very busy with this website the last couple of weeks, writing a few articles, editing a few podcasts, and having this special episode up right now - Jordan Talks Titans!

In this episode of “Jordan Talks Titans”, I look through the entirety of Season 1 of Titans, and slowly, but surely, cave into the darkness and let this show break me, and everything I enjoy.

It’s not that good, and I thought it would get better.

BUT HEY, BETTER NEWS

As you can see, I have a new podcast now available EXCLUSIVELY HERE (and maybe on apple/rss feeds if done correctly) talking about a niche subject that I know about - Game Shows!

Each episode I discuss, in length, about a game show and it’s appeal and everything about it. Unfortunately, it’s not like other “Niche” podcasts, where I have a partner to bounce-with, so it really is just me, and a microphone rambling for roughly 90 minutes about game shows.

In addition, we have a “Pricing Game Spotlight”, a 110-part series looking at every pricing game featured on “The Price is Right” (because if it was brought up on the TPIR episode, it would be very very long)

I have put up the first three episodes this week - “1 vs 100”, “Jeopardy!” and “The Cube" and you could check it out here and i hope you give it a listen in your spare time (and send me questions or requests for shows)

I am really glad to have a place to ramble about stuff i enjoy, that nobody else would understand, and I hope you all give it a listen, and I will make more next week, and every week thereafter. Who knows? Maybe eventually, this will get PR people to send me gift baskets marketing game shows coming soon, or have guests come on and watch shows and talk about them? Will I get Terry Crews to watch “Battle Dome” with me? You’ll never know!

But I gotta thank everybody from “The Doughboys” (Nick Wiger, Mike Mitchell) to the folks at Podcast The Ride (Scott Gairdner, Mike Carlson, Jason Sheridan) for giving me that push to try my hand at Niche Podcasting, I know everybody has their own, rather it’s recapping “The Simpsons” or exploring Hallmark Christmas Movies, but considering how much time I put into this weird genre of television, and my perspective on it, I figure I might as well give it a go, and I thank these people for encouragement.

I also need to thank the gang at Struggle Session (Leslie Lee III, Jack Allison, Jonathan Daniel Brown) over the last few months. From Leslie retweeting some of my articles here, to Jack' having a BB for me to promote my silly podcast, and Jonathan Daniel Brown asking if I was okay, in the middle of the wildfire. They are a trio of really nice folks, and I wish them the absolute best!

Give all three of these podcasts your attention (and Patreon Bucks, if you like it!) because without any of these people, I don’t think I would have done this weird new thing where I ramble for 90 minutes about Jeopardy and it’s MANY spinoffs.

So while one thing broke me, another one is giving me a good time, and something worth expanding outside of the comedy discussion podcast “Fun Time Calls”
